Located at the base of Willen Highway (the A5) and the M1, Willen Lake is divided into two lakes: the North Lake and the South Lake. Both Lakes are ideal for outdoor recreation and relaxation, with beautiful scenery, exhilarating adventure opportunities, and plenty of places to sit back and relax.

Willen Lake is filled with exciting opportunities for outdoor activities (i.e Splash 'n' Play) and recreational pursuits. Funfairs at Willen Lake

Willen Lake also hosts various funfairs throughout the year. These take place a few times a year, mostly during school holidays or the summer months, and provide an additional thrill for visitors to the park.

A typical funfair event at Willen Lake includes a variety of high-thrill rides, family rides, children’s rides, as well as the regular fairground stalls and food vendors. Visitors can expect to enjoy the usual fare of dodgems, waltzers, spinning rides, as well as various prize games and treats such as doughnuts and candyfloss.

Willen Observation Wheel

One of the main attractions in this area is the Willen Observation Wheel (WOW MK), giving visitors a unique experience of viewing the surroundings of this beautiful lake. With a height of 36 metres, this observation wheel soars above the lake and gives a bird’s-eye view of the surroundings, including the city of Milton Keynes.

This observation wheel consists of 24 enclosed capsules, each capable of holding up to six people. It gives a leisurely experience, revolving in 10 minutes and giving people a chance to enjoy the views from above the lake.
